Tune a Cajon

Guitar has a standard tuning but not for Cajon drum, we tune a Cajon is for a different snare effect, if you tune it too tight, it will break the string. if you tune it too loose, it will have too much snares sound, the perfect tuning is you feel it okay and you think that snare effect is perfect when playing with other instruments.

How to tighten

Strings can be tuned from the bottom of the cajon (hex key included inside)

Clockwise tune the snares with the Allen wrench to tighten it

How to loosen

Counterclockwise tune the snares with Allen wrench to loosen it.
