How To Get A Perfect Size Area Rug？

Option 1

For smaller areas we recommend using a size of 2.6*3.9ft or 3.9*5.2ft .The front of the rug should rest a few inches in front of your sofa. It is also acceptable to place sofas and armchairs on the rug, with only the front legs resting on the rug.

Option 2

Larger rooms typically require a rug that is 4.6*6.5ft, 5.2*6.5ft or 5.2*7.5ft. Place the front legs of the sofa on top of the rug. You can also place all four legs completely on the carpet surface as well. Leaving 30cm to 40cm on all sides of the rug will create a border for your living space.

Option 3

If you have king size furniture in a larger space, we recommend 6.5*6.5ft. An equal amount of floor space (between 40cm – 50cm) should be left on all sides if possible. All furniture can be placed completely on the carpet surface without appearing cramped.
